County Line band

The County Line Band is a group that features traditional and contemporary Bluegrass music with strong vocal harmonies and a driving rhythm. The group’s name originates from the fact that its members come from different parts of South Carolina and they cross many county lines whenever they get together to play music together.
Junior Steelman is from Columbia, and plays the 5-string banjo. Stimey Mathis plays the mandolin and is from Summerton. Jim Lewallen plays guitar and is from Florence, and Drew McDonald, the bass player, is from Santee.
The group’s love for this traditional music and their enjoyment in playing it can be seen every time they play, whether it is on stage or in an informal jam session with friends. The band has been playing together for nine years in and around the Santee, Pee Dee and Midlands areas.
In keeping with the tradition of family values at Bluegrass on the Waccamaw, please make welcome and enjoy, County Line Band
